SitSee Travel®
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
1. Introduction
SitSee Travel® ("SitSee Travel," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website at www.sitseetravel.com (the "Site") or purchase any SitSee Travel product, how we use that information, who we share it with, and the choices you have about your information.
By using our Site or purchasing our products, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our products.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you give us when you:
· Sign up for our weekly newsletter, which may include a discount offer for THE CHECKLIST (typically your name and email address);
· Purchase a SitSee Travel itinerary or product (typically your name, email, billing address, and payment information);
· Contact us via email or a contact form (the contents of your message and your contact details);
· Respond to a survey, review, or testimonial request (your responses and any contact information you provide).
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by us or by third-party services we use (including Google Sites, Google Analytics, and our hosting provider). This may include:
· Your IP address and approximate geographic location (country, region, or city);
· Browser type, operating system, and device type;
· Pages you visit on the Site, time spent on each page, and how you arrived at the Site (referring URL or search terms);
· Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5).
Payment Information
Purchases of SitSee Travel digital products are sold and delivered through Payhip, our third-party e-commerce platform, with card payments processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, debit card number, or banking details on our systems. Stripe handles your card information directly and is responsible for the security of that information under its own privacy policy and terms, which can be reviewed at stripe.com/privacy. Payhip stores order and customer information (such as your name, email address, billing country, and order history) to fulfill your purchase, and its privacy practices can be reviewed at payhip.com/privacy. Payhip also serves as the merchant of record for European Union, United Kingdom, and other applicable international transactions, meaning it may collect and remit sales tax, VAT, or GST on our behalf.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
· Deliver the products you purchase and fulfill our agreements with you;
· Send you THE CHECKLIST when purchased, discount-offer links for subscribers, and other materials you request;
· Send marketing emails, newsletters, and product updates if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time — see Section 7);
· Respond to your questions, comments, or customer-service requests;
· Improve our Site, products, and customer experience;
· Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security, or technical issues;
· Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the limited circumstances described below:
Service Providers
We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including:
· Payhip for storefront hosting, order management, digital product delivery, and order-related email communications (including order confirmations and download links), and (where applicable) acting as merchant of record for sales tax, VAT, or GST remittance; Stripe for credit and debit card payment processing; Kit (kit.com) for newsletter signup forms, subscriber list management, and marketing email delivery (including the weekly newsletter, welcome emails, and discount-link emails for THE CHECKLIST);
· Google Sites and Google Workspace for website hosting and content delivery;
· IONOS for domain registration, DNS services, and business email hosting (the info@sitseetravel.com inbox);
· Google Analytics for understanding Site usage and improving our content.
These service providers may access your information only to perform their tasks for us and are contractually required to keep your information confidential and use it only as instructed.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or violations of our terms.
Business Transfers
If SitSee Travel is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you (for example, by email or a notice on our Site) before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons and pixels) to operate the Site, remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used, and measure the performance of marketing campaigns.
You can usually set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Site may not function properly. If you are located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that requires cookie consent, the Site will display a cookie banner that allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies before they are set.
6. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Site contains links to third-party websites and services, including airlines (such as American Airlines), hotels (such as Hilton-owned properties), tour operators, restaurants, and mapping services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites or services. When you click through to a third-party site, you are subject to that party's privacy policy and terms. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
7. Email Communications and Your Choices
If you opt in to receive emails from us — for example, by signing up for our weekly newsletter or purchasing THE CHECKLIST — we may send you marketing emails, product updates, special offers (such as the discount link for THE CHECKLIST), and helpful travel content. You can unsubscribe at any time by:
· Clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email;
· Contacting us directly at info@sitseetravel.com.
Even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we may still send you transactional emails related to a purchase you made (for example, order confirmations and download links). All SitSee Travel sales are final and we do not offer refunds.
8. Data Retention
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to comply with our legal obligations (such as tax and accounting requirements), to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we will delete it or anonymize it.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and you provide your information at your own risk.
10. Your Rights and Choices

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act provide you with additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your California rights, contact us at the email above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or port your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We process your information based on legitimate interest, your consent (for marketing emails), or to perform a contract with you (for purchases). 11. Children’s Privacy
Our Site and products are intended for adults age 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
